Descripción

1. Preparation of accounting entries under IFRS affecting sales transactions, discounts, standard costs, operating expenses, other expenses and income, and accounts receivable and payable.
2. Preparation of manual journal entries impacting general ledger and income statement accounts.
3. Execution of monthly and annual closing processes to generate monthly income statements and balance sheets under IFRS.
4. Input of monthly and annual financial information schedules required by corporate.
5. Reconciliation of monthly balance sheet account balances under your responsibility, with explanations of the reconciliation.
6. Preparation of financial information required for monthly results presentations and support to the Plant Manager in financial explanations.
7. Supervision of the correct accounting process and recording of depreciation, additions, disposals, and fixed asset transfers, and integration of investment projects with the fixed asset manager.
8. Control of applicable plant lease agreements and monitoring of their expiration dates.
9. Preparation of information required for internal and external audits.
10. Supervision of customer setup, credit note issuance, and customer collections with the area manager, and monthly calculation of the allowance for doubtful accounts.
11. Supervision of the monthly revaluation of foreign currency accounts receivable and payable.
12. Establishment of constant communication with the Plant Manager and accountants at other sites regarding inter-plant transactions and new operations impacting the plant.
13. Participation in manufacturing order review meetings with the cost accounting department to analyze variances against standard costing and follow-up on them.

1. At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
2. Strong communication abilities to interact effectively with different departments.
3. Experience in multinational corporations.
4. English advanced.
