TNA Solutions in Querétaro, México, is seeking a General Accountant responsible for daily financial operations, reporting, and analysis to communicate the financial position to management in a timely and accurate manner.

Reporting to the Financial Controller – Americas, the role includes coordinating monthly payroll, working with EY on tax submissions and audits, and maintaining intercompany balances, bank records, and monthly reports.

Formación

• Qualified Accountant or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years financial accounting and taxes experience with some autonomy.
• Performing or auditing accounting data and the preparation of related financial reports.
• Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting theories, principles, methods and practices.
• Able to analyse and communicate qualitative and quantitative data.
• Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares regular financial and statistical reports.
• Coordinate with EY and Audit for annual income tax submission and EY Review for provisionals.
• Liaises regularly with bankers, auditors, debtors and creditors.
• Maintain banks records and submit payments, ensuring weekly cash flow accuracy.
• Maintain intercompany balances and reconciliations.
• Coordinate monthly payroll with P&C and external contractors.
• Prepare monthly financial management package and review with Manager or FC and Corporate.
• Coordinate and supply information for financial and tax audits.

About the Role

TNA is looking for a General Accountant who will be responsible for the management of daily financial operations including reporting, analysing and communicating the financial position of TNA to management in a timely and accurate manner.

With our office based in Querétaro, México, this position will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller – Americas.

Key responsibilities

You will be responsible for, but not limited to

1. Maintain high level of confidentiality regarding company personnel and financial information
2. Responsible to register and keep company books updated and accrual.
3. Prepares regular financial and statistical reports
4. Responsible for Paperwork and submission for monthly taxes Federal and local, coordinates with EY and Audit for the Annual income tax submission, and EY Review for provisionals.
5. Liaises regularly with bankers, auditors, debtors and creditors
6. Maintain Banks records and submit payments, updated and ensure accuracy in weekly cash Flow
7. Maintain Accounts for Vendor, Customer and Intercompany update reconciliated and Clean.
8. Coordinate with AR to maintain the Reports and books update
9. INEGI Reports monthly submission
10. Prepare the Monthly Financial Management package and review with Manager or FC and Corporate.
11. Coordinate monthly Payroll with P&C and External Contractors and do the dispersion in bank.
12. Upload the payments in Banks
13. Controlling Intercompany balances and Reconciliation updated.
14. Review Month end Reports, Taxes and give feedback to General Manager and (FC when necessary)
15. Coordinate and supply information for financial and tax Audit.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Accountant or CPA is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years financial accounting and taxes experience with some autonomy

• Able to analyse and communicate qualitative and quantitative data
• Maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and spreadsheets. D365 or SAP a plus.
• Bilingual with English language proficiency, written and verbal (if applicable)
