Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced AI & Automation Architect to define and govern the architecture strategy for Database Platforms. You will lead the evolution of automation frameworks and design scalable architectures that support GenAI adoption and enterprise AI integrations.

You will mentor engineers, establish governance and security standards, and collaborate across database, cloud, security, and AI teams to drive measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT with 3+ years in architect/lead roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on database platform work (Oracle, IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, MS SQL).
• Experience designing database lifecycle automation (provisioning, patching, upgrades, backup and restore).
• Hands-on GenAI delivery in production (LLM, RAG or AI agent).
• Ability to explain roles, decisions and outcomes clearly.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the AI & Automation architecture strategy for Database Platforms.
• Lead the technical evolution of existing automation solutions and frameworks.
• Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation architectures.
• Drive adoption of GenAI capabilities to improve operational efficiency and engineer productivity.
• Architect integrations with enterprise AI services (Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, RAG, Agentic AI).
• Establish development standards, governance, security controls, observability, and best practices.
• Collaborate with Database Engineering, Cloud, Security, Architecture, and AI teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership for AI and automation initiatives.
