Cognizant is seeking a Data Engineer to join our client-facing team in Mexico to build AI/ML systems within a microservice environment and deploy scalable cloud solutions on GCP.

The role emphasizes deploying models and services in Kubernetes Anthos, leveraging Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, and LangChain for GenAI workloads, while collaborating with data scientists and engineers to deliver robust data solutions.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience with a master's degree or 10+ years of relevant experience in Software Engineering or ML/AI engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, GCP, Cloud Architecture, KFP, Vertex AI, and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design robust cloud solutions in GCP that will service client intelligence and data solutions.
• Develop and deploy models and services in managed Kubernetes Framework (Anthos).
• Enhance and optimize the performance of containerized applications.
• Develop and deploy batch predictions using Dataflow, KFP and Vertex AI.
• Develop and deploy GenAI models using LangChain.
• Demonstrate expertise in Agile methodologies with backlog management and sprint planning.
• Collaborate with data scientists to train, guide, and support processes to ensure security.
