Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. seeks a seasoned Facility Manager to lead the GBS Monterrey hub’s day-to-day operations for 200+ staff. You will drive efficiency, safety, and productive workplace experiences while coordinating with HR, Procurement, and leadership.

Ideal candidates hold a related degree, 5+ years in facilities management, and strong budgeting, negotiation, and multilingual communication skills in Spanish and English.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in office/facilities management or related roles.
• Experience in a multinational environment is required.
• Strong project management and budget oversight skills.
• Spanish and English fluency (written and spoken).
• SAP experience is an advantage.

About the Role

As Facility Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Barry Callebaut GBS Hub in Monterrey, ensuring a safe, efficient, and professional workplace environment for more than 200 employees. The role is responsible for office operations, vendor and contract management, facilities maintenance, budget oversight, and administrative support to the Head of GBS Monterrey. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external service providers, landlords, HR, Procurement, and Leadership Teams to deliver an exceptional workplace experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Manage office suppliers, contractors, and service providers, including selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, and contract compliance.
• Oversee office infrastructure and facility services, including HVAC, maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and workplace equipment.
• Coordinate contractor installations, office setups, and facility-related improvement projects.
• Manage office lease obligations and maintain effective relationships with landlords and building management.
• Prepare, monitor, and control office operating budgets while driving productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Oversee purchasing activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, office supplies, and office credit card administration.
• Support the Head of GBS Monterrey on administrative, operational, legal, and communication-related activities.
• Coordinate office administration activities, including visitor management, security access, onboarding support, inventory control, travel administration, and workplace logistics.
• Partner with HR and leadership teams on employer branding initiatives, internal communications, town halls, events, and employee engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety requirements, and external regulations while supporting fraud prevention and governance activities.
• Maintain effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and share workplace management best practices across GBS locations.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Office Services, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in office management, facilities management, stakeholder communication, procurement, and vendor management.
• Experience working within a multinational environment is required.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
• Technical knowledge of office maintenance and facilities operations is preferred.
• SAP user experience is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken, is required.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Experience managing suppliers, support staff, or remote teams is preferred.
