Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Functional Tester to join its Verification & Validation team. The role focuses on installing, upgrading, and regression-testing the platform on Kubernetes clusters, debugging deployments, and advancing automated validation gates.

You will create test cases, log defects, and maintain regression suites for installer/CLI changes while contributing to automated health checks and regulated validation evidence.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA experience.
• Experience with installation, upgrade, regression, and integration testing.
• Hands-on familiarity with Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• English proficiency at B1+ level.

Responsibilities

• Spin up clean Kubernetes environments and validate pod/service health.
• Install, upgrade, rollback, regression and integration testing of the platform and Helm components.
• Validate GitOps-driven deployments with Flux, including upgrade, rollback, and backup/restore flows.
• Create test cases, log defects, retest fixes, and maintain regression suites.
• Produce test evidence for regulated environments and participate in stand-ups and sprints.

We are looking for a skilled Functional Tester to join the team as a Verification & Validation (V&V) team member.
