A specialized engineering firm in Tijuana seeks a Testing Engineer to work on mechanical and electrical systems. Responsibilities include developing testing methodologies, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring the quality of test results. Ideal candidates will have a degree in engineering and 2-3 years of experience in testing engineering, with strong skills in AutoCAD and HVAC systems.

Under general supervision, you will work in a team that provides specialized knowledge to create and improve test procedures related to mechanical and electrical systems, data acquisition, control, and automation. You will provide support for testing initiatives to prepare the equipment, personnel, and processes necessary to support functional engineering testing across the product portfolio.

• Review, comprehend, and interpret external testing standards and how they apply to internal testing procedures

• Preparing various test reports and compiling report with utmost care and accuracy

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure testing expectations are clearly defined and communicated

• Participate in the definition of the tests sets ups to verify the performances of the complete products.

• Generate mechanical test drawings and coordinate the activities of the team that will build the test sets ups.

• Develop new testing methodologies for incorporation into existing testing methods and procedures

• Set up and operate testing equipment.

• Apply and further develop skills related to mechanical and electrical HVAC systems toward testing engineering activities.

• Act as the primary technical resource for troubleshooting issues related to test cells and test units.

• Support and collaborate with engineers in activities to structure and develop system testing.

• Provide comprehensive technical oversight as required for general testing activities to ensure the highest level of quality and integrity of result

Degree in one of the following engineering fields: Electromechanical, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical, electronic, or similar.

1. Experience in mechanical design 1 to 2 years
2. Experience in testing engineering 2 to 3 years
3. Experience in HVAC 1 to 2 years

• AutoCAD 2D (Intermediate - Advanced)
• Inventor 2D & 3D (Intermediate)
• Mechanical design, sheet metal design
• General mechanical skills and ability to read mechanical drawings for prototype builds.
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and components
• Good knowledge on electrical power components.
• Good knowledge of testing tools and laboratory instrumentation
• Good working experience in Excel sheet, word and Power Point General
