Job summary

System Soft Technologies seeks a Functional Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and IT teams across IT, Digital, Finance, and Procurement in Mexico. You will translate business needs into clear functional requirements, processes, and technology solutions, helping drive effective change and delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience working with IT and digital technology teams.
• Strong understanding of Finance and/or Procurement business processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications and system requirements.
• Experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business process improvement.
• Experience supporting software implementations, enhancements, or technology projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both business users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio or similar process-mapping tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and process requirements.
• Gather, document, and analyze functional requirements and translate them into clear business and system requirements.
• Work closely with IT, Digital, Finance, and Procurement teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology enablement.
• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop business requirements documents, functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and other project documentation.
• Facilitate meetings and requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support solution design by ensuring proposed technology solutions align with business requirements.
• Assist with testing, including test planning, test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
• Support implementation and change-management activities.
• Communicate project requirements, status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of business and technology initiatives.
