Job summary

Zoolatech is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Web Discovery squad, focusing on high-traffic ecommerce features. You will deliver full-stack capabilities across Web UI, APIs, and infrastructure, collaborating with UX, product, and program managers to refine requirements and implement robust solutions.

The role emphasizes live experimentation, code quality, security, and performance. Required experience includes REST APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, and Claude Code in a professional workflow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with RESTful APIs using Golang, Java, or Python.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Kubernetes, Lambda).
• Test automation at unit, integration, and regression levels.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infra tooling.
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (New Relic, Splunk, CloudWatch).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts.
• Experience using Claude Code in a professional workflow.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-stack features (design, implement, test, support).
• Work across UI, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Build reusable cross-platform components for future use.
• Translate requirements and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Collaborate with local squad and partner teams.
• Test all scenarios and maintain security standards.
• Participate in design and code reviews for quality.
• Monitor performance and measure feature success.
• Identify performance issues and apply secure coding practices.
• Assist with on-call tasks while focusing on feature work.
• Use Claude Code and other approved AI tools daily.
