Job Description

About You

You are someone who wants to influence your own development. You’re looking for a company where you have the opportunity to pursue your interests and grow professionally.

You bring to Applaudo the following competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in fullstack development with Node.js and React.
• Advanced experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Practical experience with ETL processes using SSIS.
• Experience integrating with messaging systems (preferably Kafka) in event-driven architectures.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles: DDD, SOLID, and Clean Architecture.
• Strong command of Git/GitHub, including branching strategies and workflow management (Git Flow, trunk-based).
• Experience implementing and maintaining code quality tools like SonarQube and static code analyzers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience working in agile teams (Scrum or similar).
• Familiarity with task management tools such as JIRA.
• Optional but valued: experience with C#, Java, or Python.
• English is required, as you will collaborate with international stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical direction of fullstack development projects.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable applications using React and Node.js.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, static analysis, and testing practices.
• Architect and optimize relational databases and backend systems.
• Manage and implement event-driven architecture using tools like Kafka.
• Oversee ETL development and integration processes using SSIS.
• Promote best practices in software development, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud-native deployments.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team environment.
• Participate in infrastructure and DevOps discussions to support continuous delivery and deployment.
