• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full stack production applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks (React/Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
• Experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) OR Python (FastAPI/Django) OR Java/Kotlin (Spring Boot).
• Solid understanding of relational SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and adaptable Full Stack Developer to join our growing product and engineering team in Mexico City. In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of feature development—from building intuitive, responsive user interfaces to designing scalable server-side architectures and APIs.

Working in a flexible hybrid model, you will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers to ship high-impact features. The ideal candidate thrives across the entire web stack, brings strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys driving product initiatives from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development

• UI/UX Implementation: Build responsive, high-performance, and accessible web applications using modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular).
• State & Performance Management: Optimize frontend performance, client-side caching, cross-browser compatibility, and state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query).
• Design Systems: Collaborate with product designers to implement reusable UI component libraries and maintain design system integrity.

Backend Development & API Architecture

• API Design: Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and microservices.
• Server-Side Logic: Write scalable, maintainable server code using Node.js/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#/.NET.
• Database Management: Design database schemas, write efficient queries, and manage data integrations across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Redis) databases.

Operations, Testing & Quality

• Cloud & DevOps Integration: Deploy features using containerized environments (Docker) and integrate with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) via CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright) across both frontend and backend layers.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, daily standups, and architecture alignment sessions with global team members.

Qualifications & ProfileTechnical Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering full stack production applications.
• Frontend Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks:
  • React / Next.js (Preferred), Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Styled Components, SASS).
• Backend Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with at least one core backend language/framework:
  • Node.js (Express / NestJS) OR Python (FastAPI / Django) OR Java / Kotlin (Spring Boot).
• Databases & APIs: Solid understanding of relational SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases, along with REST/GraphQL API patterns.
• Tooling: Familiarity with Git workflows, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Language & Hybrid Setup Requirements

• Bilingual Proficiency: Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written English required for global/US stakeholder alignment).
• Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to Mexico City for scheduled in-office days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) frameworks like Next.js.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Lambda, S3, ECS, or GCP/Azure equivalents).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
