Overview

Infosys –– Full Stack(React JS/Python) Technical Lead

Are you an experienced full-stack professional with deep expertise in React JS and Python FastAPI, passionate about building scalable web solutions and leading high-performing teams? We’re looking for a Technology Leader to drive innovation and excellence in our digital initiatives within the retail domain.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on architecture, design, and development using React JS and Python FastAPI, ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of 5–10 developers across time zones, fostering collaboration and technical growth.
• Project Delivery: Own end-to-end delivery—from planning and estimation to execution and deployment—while maintaining high quality and meeting timelines.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide accurate estimates, and deliver effective technical solutions.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve development workflows, code quality, and deployment practices through automation and best practices.
• Innovation & Strategy: Challenge conventional approaches, explore emerging technologies, and contribute to the broader technology roadmap.
• Problem Solving: Act as a technical escalation point, resolving complex issues efficiently and guiding the team through challenges.

Locations for this position are Mexico hybrid mode

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider 8 years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

Mandatory Skillsets:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with React JS and Python FastAPI, including strong proficiency in building scalable web applications and APIs.
• 3+ years of domain experience in Retail, with a solid understanding of retail workflows and systems.
• Proven experience in leading development teams (5–10 members) across multiple time zones.
• Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a proactive and independent work ethic.
• Skilled in both support and development processes, with the ability to estimate and collaborate with stakeholders on new requirements.
• Focused on delivering high-quality solutions with minimal QA rework through strong logic and design practices.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
• Understanding of RESTful API design, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
• Exposure to modern integration patterns

Other Relevant Experience:

• Experience in software development life cycle including agile. Participates in implementations of new systems or modifications to existing systems to meet Information Systems and client business requirements.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Experience in Retail Domain
