Confiz is seeking an Engineer 2 in Monterrey to join a Fortune 100 client project, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions in an Agile setting. You will work with Java, React, and cloud services, while integrating Kafka, REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub in a secure coding environment.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of software engineering experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for modern cloud technologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Java and React, and cloud-based services (AWS).
• Experience with Kafka, RESTful APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Works with other software engineers on design best practices and conducts code reviews.
• Resolves engineering problems, collaborating with others.
• Facilitates cross functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engages others when needed.
• Responsible for creating, evaluating, and contributing to feature detailed designs.
• Design, develop, and implement software utilizing an agile project cycle.
• Demonstrates knowledge of IT concepts and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations.
• Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.

An Engineer is part of a key team of our Fortune 100 client that applies scientific, mathematical, and social principles to design, build, and maintain scalable and sustainable technology products, devices, systems, and solutions. As Engineer 2, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining software packages intended for deployment.

Responsibilities

• Works with other software engineers on design best practices and conducts code reviews.

• Resolves engineering problems, collaborating with others.

• Facilitates cross functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engages others when needed.

• Responsible for creating, evaluating, and contributing to feature detailed designs.

• Design, develop, and implement software utilizing an agile project cycle.

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations.

• Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.

Skills

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in:
  • Java (Python is a plus)
  • React
  • AWS / Cloud-based services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience or familiarity with:
  • Kafka
  • RESTful architecture / APIs
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • CI/CD methodologies and tooling
  • GitHub
• Additional programming experience with Python is a plus.

Education -

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
