AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design and scale a platform used by enterprise procurement teams. The role blends frontend and backend ownership across React and Ruby on Rails, translating wireframes into production features.

You will collaborate with product, data science, and design teams to solve complex, ambiguous problems within a growing engineering organization. This position emphasizes a people-first culture and impact-driven growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building web apps using Rails, Entity, Spring, or similar MVC frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience using JavaScript/TypeScript to build SPAs with React.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL databases (Postgres, RDS).
• 3+ years of experience using HTML and CSS for web apps.
• 3+ years of experience converting wireframes into features.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic mindset, and leadership ambitions are a plus.
• Performance mindset for client/server optimization.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Experience in fast-moving environments with on-call rotations and documented SLAs/SLOs/RPOs/RTOs.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation and build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Staff Tech Leads to estimate and commit.
• Implement best practices to optimize the development process and increase efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project status, risks, and issues.
• Participate in an on-call rotation.
