Amdocs is seeking a Software Support and Development Engineer to provide best-in-class technical support to a global customer base in Mexico. You will investigate, debug, reproduce issues, deliver fixes and verify changes while meeting SLAs and KPIs.

The role requires ownership, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will participate in on-call weekend support on a rotation and contribute to production issue resolution.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/IT/CS or equivalent.
• 3+ yrs experience in Angular.
• 3+ yrs experience Spring Boot.
• 3+ yrs experience Java Tomcat (installation, configuration).
• 3+ yrs Oracle SQL and MSSQL scripting expertise and be able to create and update procedures and SQL.
• 3+ yrs Linux shell scripting expertise for Production issue handling, automations and alerts setup.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, debug and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.
• Demonstrate continuous improvements and increased efficiency to software or business processes using Engineering tools and existing solutions.
• Meet SLAs and KPIs for the account, such as responsiveness and resolution targets.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders to clarify customer problems and ensure proper resolution.
• Provide on-call weekend support on a rotational basis, and extended weekday support as required.
