Qualifications

• 5+ years professional software development experience (backend-focused).
• Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS and building low-latency API services.
• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/AuroraDB including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Experience building secure multi-tenant environments.
• Comfortable writing raw SQL and migrations (node-postgres, node-pg-migrate).
• Professional experience with React.
• Strong testing practices incl. integration tests against real DBs.
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills.
• Solid understanding of full stack development with frontend support when needed.
• Background with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Requirements

• Comfortable writing raw SQL and managing schema migrations (e.g., node-postgres, node-pg-migrate)
• Professional experience with React
• Strong testing practices, including integration tests against real databases and failure-mode/fault-injection testing
• Experience working with AI coding assistants as part of daily development
• CI/CD application creation and maintenance skills
• Solid understanding of full stack development, with the ability to contribute to frontend work when needed
