Tyson Mexico is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to monitor and enhance food safety practices in Monterrey. You will perform audits, collaborate with production teams, and maintain SOPs and quality manuals to foster a culture of quality.

Ideal candidates have a 2+ year QA background in food, strong English skills, and proficiency in quality software. This full-time role offers growth in a regulated食品 manufacturing environment.

Formación

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in quality control/QA in food industry.
  • Strong English, written and spoken; communicates with international stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

  • Monitor and maintain quality control procedures for food safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections across production.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address issues and implement actions.
  • Develop and update SOPs, quality manuals, and documentation.
  • Train staff on quality standards and best practices.

  • Work closely with regulatory agencies and assist in inspections and certifications related to food safety.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and update quality documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality manuals.

  • Work closely with regulatory agencies and assist in inspections and certifications related to food safety.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within the food industry.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal; ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, quality standards, and principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ISO 9001, SQF or FSCC22000 or other quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Certification in Food Safety or Quality Management is a plus.
