Lyft is offering an internship in Mexico City for students pursuing a Computer Science degree. You'll work alongside top engineers and contribute to user-facing products, with autonomy from day one.

Expect to own your project, perform progressive refactors, and emphasize testing to ensure reliability. Strong CS fundamentals, React experience, and English communication are needed, with a 12-week, 40-hour schedule in Summer 2027.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a CS degree from a university in Mexico (required).
• Graduating between December 2027 and Summer 2028 (required).
• Available Summer 2027 for a 12-week, 40-hour week internship.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals.
• Good English communication skills.
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
• Contributions to open source projects.
• Experience with databases.

Responsabilidades

• Own your project and coordinate with team members throughout the day.
• Refactor code to improve quality and longevity.
• Prioritize reliability with unit, integration, and load testing.
• Participate in code reviews to share knowledge.
• Support continuous integration and deployment.
• Deliver work that meaningfully improves Lyft drivers and passengers.
