Lyft is looking for a software engineer in Mexico City to build scalable services for airport travel. You will work with real-time systems, collaborate with multiple teams, and ship features end-to-end to improve the airport experience for riders and drivers.

Requirements include 2–5+ years in software development, Python/Go, OO programming, and a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms. A collaborative, low-ego team player is essential.

Formación

• BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5+ years of software engineering/production infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Python and Go.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming.
• Experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.
• Bonus points for open-source project involvement.

Responsabilidades

• Drive high-impact projects and innovate new solutions to improve user experience.
• Lead large features from idea to execution and launch.
• Write well-crafted, tested, readable, maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and knowledge sharing.
• Join on-call rotations and triage/resolve issues across applications.
• Explain trade-offs made in design and implementation decisions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
