Front-End Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer
Overview:
ImagineX Studio is seeking a talented and passionate Front-End Salesforce Commerce Cloud Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining engaging and high-performance front-end experiences for our e-commerce platform using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), SFRA, and PWA Kit. You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional user experiences, including managing digital assets and implementing A/B and MVT testing.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce Composable Commerce Development:
Develop and customize storefronts using Salesforce Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA).
Implement and customize PWA Kit for enhanced performance, and improved user engagement.
Optimize storefront performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Ensure seamless integration with SFCC back-end services.
Integrate third-party services and APIs into the front-end.
Front-End Development:
Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Implement UI/UX designs and ensure a consistent brand experience.
Implement and maintain responsive and user-friendly designs.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code.
A/B and MVT Testing:
Implement and support A/B and multivariate (MVT) testing strategies for e-commerce sites.
Analyze test results and provide recommendations for optimization.
Work with marketing to implement testing plans.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, marketing teams, and product managers to define and implement front-end solutions.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in front-end development, preferably with Salesforce Commerce Cloud with SFRA and PWA Kit Experience.
Strong proficiency in:
JavaScript (ES6+)
React.js (PWA Kit is React based)
HTML5
CSS3/SASS/LESS
Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
Experience implementing and analyzing A/B and MVT tests.
Understanding of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc) is a plus.
