About the role of Front Desk Receptionist:

The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, addressing guest inquiries, and coordinating with resort departments to ensure a seamless experience.

What you will do:

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and facilitate a friendly, professional check-in/check-out process.
  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the resort’s booking system.
  • Respond to phone calls and emails regarding bookings, services, and inquiries.
  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
  • Process payments, issue invoices, and keep accurate transaction records.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Promote resort events, spa services, and dining options to enhance the guest experience.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in Front Desk or Rooms division roles.
  • Experience in a luxury hotel or similar high-end hospitality environment (2+ years) is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Opera Software is mandatory.
  • Strong skills in navigating hotel systems with attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest experience delivery.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and a strong customer service orientation.
  • Guest-centric mindset with an understanding of personalized service and guest preferences.
