About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and resourceful French speaking Customer Care Agent to join our team in Mérida. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless support for our French-speaking customers, particularly during the French nighttime hours, as part of our commitment to 24/7 service continuity. If you have a passion for helping others and thrive in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment, this is the opportunity for you!

The Team:

You’ll be part of a dynamic and collaborative Customer Care team, which currently includes:

  1. One agent based in Mérida (short-term mission).
  2. One team leader and four or six agents (based on the season) located in Paris.

The Mérida office also hosts a team of five other employees from different departments, creating a lively and supportive work environment.

Missions

As the first long-term Mérida-based hire for the Customer Care team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of service while collaborating closely with both the Paris team and other stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  1. Be the first point of contact for customers at their destinations, addressing their needs and providing timely assistance.
  2. Assess customer situations, respond effectively, and coordinate necessary assistance operations.
  3. Handle modification requests from travel agencies or service providers via email or phone.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders, including end customers, suppliers, and the Customer Care team.

What we are looking for:

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Fluent in French and English (clear and concise communication).
  2. Prior experience in the tourism or hospitality industry or customer relationship roles is a plus.
  3. Strong knowledge of the tourism industry is advantageous.
  4. Demonstrated skills in priority management, stress management, problem-solving, and active listening.
