Motherson Group, con sede en Apodaca, Nuevo León, México, busca un líder en soluciones logísticas para Norteamérica. El candidato ideal gestionará transporte, desarrollo de carriers y optimización de la cadena de suministro, trabajando con equipos para entregar operaciones eficientes.

Se requieren 5–10 años en transporte y logística automotriz, dominio de inglés y español, y fuertes habilidades de negociación y toma de decisiones.

Formación

• Licenciatura en negocios, cadena de suministro, logística o campo relacionado (preferible).
• 5–10 años de experiencia en transporte y cadena de suministro, con experiencia en logística automotriz (preferible).
• Experiencia apoyando proveedores automotrices, plantas de manufactura y logística OEM (deseable).
• Experiencia en gestión de transporte transfronterizo EE. UU.-México es un plus.
• Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar operaciones diarias de transporte y logística en Norteamérica.
• Desarrollar operadores/transportistas y gestionar relaciones con clientes.
• Garantizar entrega puntual, seguimiento, facturación y precisión de informes.
• Liderar operaciones de transporte y mejorar costes y eficiencia.
• Monitorear KPIs, proveedores y mejoras continuas.

Job Summary

Our Logistics Solutions division optimizes efficiency and leverages technology in the automotive supply chain, managing finished vehicle logistics for both internal and external clients. Join us to work with advanced technologies and help shape the future of automotive operations.

What you’ll do

Lead and support North American logistics operations, including transportation management, carrier development, customer service and supply chain optimization. Drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and business growth while managing carrier relationships.

Main Functions

• Manage daily transportation operations
• Oversee shipment execution, tracking issue resolution, and customer communication
• Ensure timely delivery, reporting, invoicing and billing accuracy
• Lead transportation operations
• Monitor carrier performance, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support FTL, LTL, parcel, ocean, and air freight operations
• Drive logistics optimization and cost savings projects
• Provide performance reporting and operational updates to leadership
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful execution
• Support the growth of SMGCL logistics solutions in NORAM

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred
• 5 – 10 years of transportation and supply chain experience and automotive logistics industry experience preferred
• Experience supporting automotive suppliers, manufacturing plants, and OEM logistics is highly preferred
• US-Mexico cross-border transportation management experience is a plus
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong negotiation, communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
• English and Spanish required

10-15% travel to Mexico manufacturing facilities, carriers, and logistics partners to support operational reviews, supplier development, and continuous improvement activities.
