Novibet is seeking a Fraud Prevention Analyst in Mexico City to join our fast-growing GameTech team. You will execute day-to-day fraud prevention activities, investigate alerts, and identify risks before they impact operations.

The role blends investigative work with data analysis to strengthen proactive controls across offers and promotions. You will collaborate with Product, Risk, and Customer Operations to design, test, and refine rules, report insights, and help reduce losses while

Formación

  • 1–3 years of experience in fraud prevention or a related analytical role.
  • Experience analyzing fraud patterns or customer behavior in LATAM i-gaming markets is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret large data volumes accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience or familiarity with LATAM markets (Brazil & Mexico) is a strong advantage.
  • Solid understanding of fraud prevention tools, systems, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating in a cross-functional team.

Responsabilidades

  • Investigate ad hoc alerts, anomalies, and suspicious activity flagged by the Detection team or internal systems
  • Identify and assess breaches or exploitable gaps in offers, promotions, and incentive structures
  • Analyze fraud-related data to detect organized fraud activity, shared device usage, or suspicious behavioral patterns
  • Support the design, testing, and refinement of automated fraud detection and prevention rules
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Fraud Prevention Lead, providing detailed evidence and recommendations
  • Document investigation outcomes and share analytical insights to enhance team knowledge and future prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with Product, Risk, and Customer Operations teams to communicate prevention strategies and mitigate emerging threats

What we are looking for

As a Fraud Prevention Analyst you will be responsible for executing day-to-day fraud prevention activities and proactively identifying potential risks before they impact operations. The role combines investigative work with data analysis to uncover loopholes, exploit patterns, and weaknesses across offers, promotions, and incentive systems. Working closely with the team will be responsible for the development of automated fraud controls, contributes to continuous process improvement, and provides insights that strengthen proactive fraud prevention and reduces company losses.

What you will work on
  • Investigate ad hoc alerts, anomalies, and suspicious activity flagged by the Detection team or internal systems
  • Identify and assess potential breaches or exploitable gaps in offers, promotions, and incentive structures
  • Analyze fraud-related data to detect organized fraud activity, shared device usage, or suspicious behavioral patterns

What you bring
  • 1–3 years of experience in fraud prevention, risk management, compliance, or a related analytical role. Experience analyzing fraud patterns or customer behavior in LATAM i-gaming markets is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to investigate, analyze, and interpret large volumes of data accurately
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize findings clearly
  • Fluency in English is required (written & verbal)
  • Experience or familiarity with LATAM markets (especially Brazil & Mexico) is a strong advantage
  • Solid understanding of fraud prevention tools, systems, and best practices
  • Proficiency in data handling and reporting (Excel, BI tools, SQL knowledge is a plus)
  • Strong analytical mindset and pattern recognition skills
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team
