Sulzer seeks an FP&A Specialist to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, delivering financial insights to guide strategic and operational decisions.

This specialist role applies advanced finance knowledge to manage projects with limited supervision, collaborating with local and corporate teams to develop models, analyze variances, and present findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of previous experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or accounting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Attention to detail and high level of precision in work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish; intermediate English is desirable.
• Proactivity and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Perform variance analysis between actual and budgeted/forecasted results, identifying causes and implications.
• Collaborate in the preparation of periodic financial reports for local and corporate management.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models to support various business initiatives.
• Participate in process improvement projects within the finance department.
• Collect and analyze financial data from various sources to identify trends and opportunities.
• Maintain the integrity and accuracy of financial data used in analyses.
• Support the preparation of financial presentations for different audiences.

About the role

The FP&A Specialist is responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
