Job summary

Univar Solutions is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business analysis for U.S. functional departments.

This hybrid role sits in Mexico City and collaborates with leaders to deliver insights that drive performance. You will analyze variances, assist in budgeting, develop dashboards with SAP, BPC/EPM, Power BI, Tableau, and present findings to executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of FP&A, financial analysis, accounting, or related experience.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, BPC/EPM, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and planning tools preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
• Support the annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports, analyses, and performance metrics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and data visualizations using SAP, BPC/EPM, Power BI, Tableau.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reporting packages and executive presentations.
• Partner with finance and business teams to identify trends, improve processes, and support business performance.
• Contribute to finance transformation, systems implementation, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely completion of project deliverables and provide insights that support successful project outcomes.
