New Fortress Energy seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support offshore platform maintenance on a 21/21 rotation. The right candidate will bring 10+ years on static and rotating equipment, with hands-on predictive maintenance experience and strong CMMS familiarity.

You will work with multi-discipline teams to prioritize work orders, ensure safety compliance, and help optimize spare parts, scheduling, and procurement processes. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Formación

• 10+ years of experience with static and rotating equipment.
• Experience with predictive maintenance techniques and initial evaluation.
• Experience with surveillance and repair of LNG, cryogenic or other hydrocarbon processing equipment.
• Conversant with break-in and reinstatement of piping and valves.
• Familiarity with regulatory maintenance requirements will be a plus.
• Working with CMMS applications and maintaining high compliance to schedules.

• Ensure that Work Orders are properly prioritized, permitted and executed in a safe and effective manner.

• Support the development and implementation of the spare parts evaluation and selection.
• Support Planning and Scheduling efforts to ensure safe and efficient use of personnel and other Company resources.
• Ensure high level of compliance to maintenance schedule with focus on equipment relative to safety, critical elements and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that the Area Maintenance execution backlogs are kept targeting levels.
• Determine non-stock material needs and initiate purchasing process.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor and OIM in achieving stated goals and targets.

Qualifications

• Available to work a 21/21 rotation schedule
• 10+ years of experience with static and rotating equipment
• Experience in carrying out predictive maintenance techniques and initial evaluation
• Experience with surveillance and repair of LNG, cryogenic or other Hydrocarbon processing equipment including Turbines, diesel engines, process compressors, cryogenic pumps and Heat Exchangers
• Conversant with break-in and reinstatement of piping and valves
• Conversant with predictive and reliability best practices. Familiarity with Regulatory Maintenance requirements will be a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
• Working with CMMS Applications and maintaining high levels of Compliance to Schedules, high quality execution of work and timely reporting
• Able to work with minimum supervision and direct support services resources efficiently.
