Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Software Development Engineer with microarchitecture expertise to develop fleet health and cloud-scale software for platform monitoring and diagnostics. You will work with cross-functional teams to enable high-quality Xeon launches and improve in-fleet experiences.

The role involves building customer-facing software, debugging complex server and distributed systems, and collaborating throughout the product lifecycle. This is a temporary position for 2 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• 6+ years developing and debugging in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience in Linux environments and multithreaded apps.
• Familiar with x86 architecture and system-level software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable fleet health and telemetry software.
• Build and extend telemetry, diagnostics, and observability tools.
• Analyze large telemetry data to identify defects and trends.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver fleet-ready solutions.
• Support validation, deployment, and in-fleet operations.
