Symrise is seeking a Flavorist for Culinary/Savory or Beverages/Sweet in Mexico to support the local team in product development for ham, sausages, snacks, sauces, and beverages. You will lead technical feasibility studies, adapt formulations, and deliver customer-focused flavor solutions while ensuring GLP compliance.

You will collaborate with Creation, Regulatory affairs and Quality Control teams, prepare technical briefs, and communicate insights directly to clients, including face-to-face

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or correlated.
• Experience in flavor application or culinary development.
• Knowledge in food ingredients is appreciated.
• Language: Spanish and English fluent.
• Availability for travels.

Responsabilidades

• Lead projects by assessing technical feasibility and cost, adapting formulations.
• Develop new flavors and modify existing flavor formulas.
• Assist flavorist in flavor evaluations.
• Communicate technical information directly to customers and present briefs.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and safety measures.
• Collaborate with Creation, Regulatory affairs and Quality Control teams.
• Handle and dispose of raw materials according to safety recommendations.

Your role

• Flavorist for Culinary/Savory or Beverages/Sweet for Mexico
• Supports the local team in the culinary development of products such as ham and sausages, battered and breaded items, frozen meals, sauces, plant-based solutions, and snack applications
• Supports the local team in the beverages/sweet development of products such as Non Alcoholics Beverares (CSDs, Juices, Flavor waters and etc) Alcoholics Beverages (LADs, Beers, Spirits and etc) Dairy and Bakery applications
• Leads projects by assessing technical feasibility and cost, adapting existing formulations, and enhancing customer-specific bases
• Assists the flavorist in flavor evaluations
• Develops and delivers technical solutions aligned with customer needs and Symrise’s strategic objectives, while ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Prepares and communicates technical information directly to customers. Engages in face-to-face meetings with clients to present technical insights and capture clear, well-defined project briefs
• Develop new flavors and/or modifying existing flavor formula, according to the company’s guidelines and best laboratory practices.
• Work in partnership with Creation, Regulatory affairs and Quality Control teams for deeply technical discussions and decisions.
• Ensure correct handling and disposal of raw materials in line with recommendation for risk and safety measures.
