SANMINA-SCI TECHNOLOGY INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an entry-level Fixed Assets Accountant in Jalisco to support CAPEX operations. You will review capitalization, asset transfers, and retirements to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate asset records.

The role involves preparing journal entries, maintaining fixed asset roll-forward schedules, reconciling balance-sheet accounts, and partnering with plant managers and project leads to close periods on time.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Understanding of GAAP standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: Prepare journal entries, maintain fixed asset roll-forward schedules, and reconcile balance-sheet accounts in compliance with GAAP and company guidelines.
• CAPEX Management: Review and approve capital expenditure requests; ensure transactions meet capitalization thresholds and criteria.
• Asset Lifecycle Processing: Execute day-to-day transactional activities including capitalization, internal transfers, disposals, and retirements.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with plant managers, project leads, and department heads to verify asset status and resolve discrepancies.
• Time Management: Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet CAPEX tracking and period-end close deadlines.
• Adaptability & Collaboration: Work collaboratively within the team while maintaining flexibility to adjust pace as project volumes fluctuate.
