MPS Group LLC is seeking a Design Director to steer visual design, brand, and digital product experiences for a growing fintech organization. The role demands translating brand principles into polished, intuitive products while maintaining high visual polish across platforms.

The candidate will lead with a strong design point of view, collaborate with product, UX, and engineering, and guide teams through concept to execution in a globally distributed environment.

Formación

• 8+ years of experience in visual design, brand design, product design, or a related field.
• Experience in a Design Director, Creative Director, Art Director, or senior visual design leadership capacity.
• Strong visual and brand design portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital experiences.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong eye for visual polish.
• Strong understanding of typography, color, composition, layout, visual hierarchy, and design systems.
• Experience collaborating closely with product, UX, engineering, and business teams.
• Ability to provide creative direction while remaining hands-on when needed.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams across locations and time zones.
• Ability to maintain 3–5+ hours of working-time overlap with Pacific Time (PT).

Responsabilidades

• Lead visual direction and design quality across brand and digital product experiences.
• Translate brand identity and visual systems into compelling in-product experiences.
• Establish and maintain high standards of visual quality, consistency, and polish.
• Partner with product, UX, engineering, and business stakeholders from concept through execution.
• Develop and evolve visual design systems, patterns, and guidelines across digital experiences.
• Provide creative direction and thoughtful design feedback to designers and cross-functional teams.
• Balance brand expression with usability, accessibility, and product requirements.
• Review designs and prototypes for consistency with the overall visual and brand direction.
• Help shape the visual language of products as they evolve and scale.
• Clearly communicate design rationale to creative and non-creative stakeholders.
