Nissan is seeking a Financial Specialist. An opportunity exists for an ambitious professional to join the Aftersales Finance team at Nissan North America. The organization seeks a results-oriented professional to be part of a highly dynamic and fast-paced team that supports the Aftersales and Cost of Quality (CoQ) functions in delivering their financial objectives.

Job Summary

Manages monthly financial close process to ensure accurate reporting. Plans, prepares, consolidates and reports monthly performance, annual budgets, monthly financial forecasts, and variance analyses. Acts as direct controller touchpoint for Aftersales leaders. Tracks and analyzes revenues and expenses for projects and operations. Conducts complex ad-hoc analysis as needed. Contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth. Manages the detailed expense reports in Excel.

  • Consolidates and reports monthly financial results, including variances to target and reasons for significant variances.
  • Provides financial performance insight from a Profit & Loss (P&L) point of view.
  • Presents Opex (VME, FMI, G&A) and COSA results to Aftersales leadership
  • Enhances financial reporting to support changing business needs.
  • Requires interaction with internal clients and other cross-functional groups.
  • Strong challenge mindset to drive process improvements
  • Has a strong excel skillset and AI usage ability a plus
  • Completes monthly financial analyses of various operations.
  • Conducts ad-hoc financial analyses with greater complexity, including return on investment analyses.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
Minimum Qualifications

The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.

  • Firm understanding of financial concepts related to financial statements and basic accounting principles. Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
  • Five or more years of directly related professional level experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related discipline. MBA, MA or CPA strongly desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, SAP or other similar applications to produce non-standard, creative products.
