Job summary

Siemens Energy in Mexico is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis for the business unit. You will drive forecasting cycles, analyze results, and provide insights for management decisions across IFRS-compliant processes.

The ideal candidate has a BS/BA in accounting or finance, 6+ years of experience, and expert Excel, SAP, and Alteryx skills, with advanced English.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of accounting/finance experience required.
• Expert-level financial, analytical, interpersonal, and computer skills required.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and ad hoc analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transparent and comprehensive controlling support for forecasting, budgeting, month-end closing, KPI monitoring, and reporting.
• Lead the Month-End Closing process ensuring IFRS compliance and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage planning cycle with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes.
• Prepare and analyze monthly controlling reports on headcount, cost centers, productivity, warranties, and closeout reserves.
• Support internal and external audit activities and drive data quality improvements.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and digitalization initiatives.
