Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY MEXICO, S.A. DE C.V. is seeking a Controlling & Planning Specialist in San Luis Potosí to drive financial planning, budgeting and reporting. You will analyze variances, consolidate forecasts and partner with multiple departments to support strategic decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years in FP&A or controlling, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience with SAP/Oracle. English fluency is essential for cross‑border collaboration and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, controlling, or similar finance role.
Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and planning software (Hyperion, Anaplan).
English fluency, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance and profitability analyses and cost control.
Lead preparation and consolidation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans with departments.
Develop financial models to support initiatives and business cases.
Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and senior management presentations.
Monitor performance against budget and forecast, explain deviations, suggest actions.
Support implementation and improvement of planning/reporting systems and tools.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
