Description and Requirements

As a Deal Finance Analyst in Lenovo Solutions & Services Group, you will play a vital role in supporting pre-sales bid and proposal management for customized and complex deals. You will assist our sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams in governing sales processes and executing complex deals, with a particular focus on bid financial management. The Deal Finance Analyst is key in managing the pursuit process, applying financial management methods, skills, best practices, and tools. Success in this role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and a proven track record in pre-sales bid financial processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Financial Governance: Execute and optimize deal assurance processes for pre-sales bid solutions, including pricing approval, tax review, price benchmarking, credit approval, treasury approval, accounting due diligence, and other critical stages. Provide timely updates to stakeholders such as the deal desk and finance teams.
  • Deal Financial Policy Management: Implement, review, and improve deal finance policies. Ensure all financial processes comply with company policies and legal regulations, improving approval efficiency and accuracy.
  • Bid Support: Provide comprehensive financial support for bidding activities, including preparing the financial section of bid documents, bid P&L analysis, tax impact analysis, funding arrangements, etc. Ensure the competitiveness and financial rationality of proposals.
  • Financial Modelling and Reporting: Conduct financial analysis based on pre-sales data, support management decisions, and regularly share financial reports like deal capital control and cash flow projections. Build models to evaluate deal profitability and returns.
  • Process Optimization and Knowledge Transfer: Continuously improve pre-sales financial processes and organize internal training to enhance financial awareness and collaboration within the team.

Requirements:

  • Advanced English skills; role reports to a global team.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant financial experience, preferably in pricing and pre-sales support within large enterprises.
  • Knowledge of enterprise financial management processes including pricing, credit, treasury, and tax management.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, MS D365, CPQ, Salesforce, Power BI.
  • Strong professional ethics, responsibility, attention to detail, and numerical aptitude.
