Descripción del empleo

Actuarial analysts develop financial projections, cost-benefit analysis, and insurance plan validation using statistical, modeling, and risk management strategies. The position is part of the NA FAA (North America Financial Actuarial Analysis) team, which provides risk assessment to companies located in the United States of America. They use analytical and research skills to identify adverse situations a company may face, assess the likelihood of these situations, and determine the associated financial impact.

The Role:

  • Perform technical reviews by developing and reviewing mathematical models and actuarial analyses (such as Doer / Technical Reviewer).
  • Ensure service reliability according to Quality standards, acting as a Peer / Secondary Technical Reviewer, reviewing each case concisely.
  • Understand the FAA service catalogue and possess knowledge of employee benefit plan design, underwriting/financial concepts, and H&B tools.
  • Engage assertively with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with international teams.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous deliverables.
  • Deliver high-quality service within agreed timelines (SLA/Target Date).
  • Participate actively and efficiently in assigned projects.
  • Contribute ideas for focused improvements.
  • Apply innovation and creativity to achieve goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English (B2 level, business communication).
  • Degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related fields.
  • Experience in the insurance or financial industry (+4 years).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Mathematical proficiency.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including database management.
