Formación

Amazon is seeking a Financial Analyst to support critical functions for Transportation and our rapidly expanding internal delivery operation, purpose-built to achieve and exceed the delivery quality and speed demands of Amazon customers.

This Financial Analyst will be primarily responsible for business partnering, decision support, controllership, and operations cost reduction for Under the roof activities. This role requires extensive cross-functional partnership with various operational, transportation, and finance teams to identify best practices across the network and lead cost improvement efforts for operations.

Key job responsibilities
  1. Expertise collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to lead business improvement and cost reductions
  2. Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data, then assisting the Transportation team to improve and create new measures for site productivity
  3. Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
  4. Manage the development of all weekly and monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, and reporting models, ensuring continuous innovation and effective communication with Operations partners
  5. Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure key decision data is accurate, automated, and timely
  6. Proven ability to manage a team with competing priorities and provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading)
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions
  • At least 1 year of finance experience
  • Experience in corporate finance, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • At least 1 year of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
  • Experience with TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL
