Fresh Del Monte Produce in Mexico is seeking a Financial Analyst to support forecasting, budgeting and performance monitoring with analytical insight to guide operational and strategic decisions.

You will collaborate with Sales and FP&A, prepare customer P&Ls, support CAPEX analysis and drive improvements and automation for the Vegetables and Fruit Divisions.

Formación

• 4-year college degree in accounting, finance or similar.
• At least 3 years in accounting/finance as analyst or senior analyst.
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Experience creating Power BI dashboards and reports.
• SQL/Python knowledge for data work.

Responsabilidades

• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Create variance analyses and financial models.
• Lead real-time financial performance monitoring.
• Prepare P&L for RFPs to solicit vendor bids.
• Identify process improvements and drive automation.
• Coordinate between Sales and FP&A for forecasting and performance.

• Perform CAPEX analyses and tracking.
• Escalate financial issues to management.
• Present regular financial reports to management.

Purpose of the Role:

The Financial Analyst

This position will be responsible for assisting in business forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring, by providing analysis and insight into decision-making in operational, financial and strategic matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Creates variance analysis reports and financial models
• Leads real-time financial performance monitoring
• Prepares P&L for RFP to solicit bids from potential vendors
• Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline processes and leads automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve data accuracy
• Serves as the primary liaison between Sales and FP&A, ensuring alignment on financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Prepare Customer P&L showcasing performance of individual customers/products
• Support the FP&A team to prepare Forecast and Budget (Vegetables and Fruit Divisions)
• CAPEX analysis and preparation
• Escalates financial issues to management
• Supports in setting and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives
• Presents regular financial reports to management
• Manages assigned projects and initiatives as needed

Education & Experience:

• 4-year College Degree (Accounting, Finance or similar) from an accredited institution.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or finance positions as an analyst or senior analyst

Skills:

• English Skills written and speaking
• Good math, accounting and analytical skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Working knowledge of Power BI (DAX functions) dashboard creation and maintenance
• Data Manipulation and Data Definition, Relational Database, Python/SQL developer, Access DB
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong presentation and communication skills (i.e. oral and written).
• Excellent people, collaboration & teaming,
• Well organized and able to multi-task.
