We have an excellent opportunity to join this successful team as:

Financial Analyst

Objective of the Position:

Responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial information and data, as well as maintaining the financial integrity of the company, to support strategic decision-making and process analysis that contribute to the profitability and growth of the company.

Activities:

  1. Reviews and analyzes monthly financial statements, providing an analysis of variance of results against budget and forecast.
  2. Review of the daily transactions carried out by the Operations Teams: Daily Registration of Invoices, Inventories, Purchase Orders, and transfers between companies, import-export reports.
  3. Review and maintain standard cost of goods, balance sheet, and loss and response reports in the SAP system.
  4. Review the spending practices of all departments to ensure that the best possible practices are being followed.
  5. Review, identify, and analyze trends in relevant expenses of the operation, such as freight, warehouses, customs duties, contractors, and utilities.
  6. Perform customer and product profitability analysis, and similar analysis for suppliers.
  7. Support the weekly forecasting process, annual budget, reporting on additional impacts and risks.
  8. Ensure, together with division management, the proper documentation and review for the effectiveness and profitability of all operations contracts, maintenance agreements, lease agreements, etc.
  9. Support the region's monthly closing process, ensuring that accounting activities comply with company policy and appropriate legal requirements, and that financial reporting is complete.
  10. Review monthly reconciliations to ensure the integrity of divisions' balance sheets.
  11. Perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, LAE, LNI, or related field.
  2. 3 – 5 years of experience in the area.
  3. Bilingual.
  4. SAP Domain, Contpaq i.
  5. Excellent Excel proficiency.
  6. Excellent analytical capabilities.
  7. Strategic decision-making.
  8. Troubleshooting.
