Amphenol CMT - Critical Medical Technologies is seeking a Finance Supervisor in Tijuana, Baja California. The successful candidate will manage the preparation and accuracy of financial information, including monthly financial statements and EBITDA analysis. This role supports crucial forecasting and budgeting processes while ensuring compliance within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a Public Accountant degree, expertise in manufacturing finance, and strong skills in cost accounting and team management.

Formación

  • Bachelors degree in finance administration or financial engineering is required.
  • Must have over 5 years in finance roles within manufacturing, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in English is essential.

Responsabilidades

Descripción del empleo

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and ensure accurate EBITDA calculation and analysis for the plant.
  • Coordinate and support the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring timely and reliable financial projections.
  • Maintain direct and ongoing communication with Corporate Finance, acting as the main point of contact to review plant financial results, forecasts, and performance drivers.
  • Partner with plant leadership and operational teams to analyze financial performance and identify cost control and efficiency opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, labor, overhead, and scrap, ensuring proper cost allocation and control.
  • Analyze and explain variances vs. budget and forecast, providing clear recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate financial records, reconciliations, and reporting integrity.
  • Maintain financial systems and tools for reporting, consolidation, and forecasting, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, cost per unit, and profitability.
  • Monitor sales, margins, and cost structures by product line and customer to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Support financial evaluation of capital expenditures, validations, equipment purchases, and continuous improvement projects.
Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Manages the payroll of assigned team (attendance and punctuality)
  • Manages discipline of assigned team (reporting to HR any faults to code of conduct or internal rules code)
  • Responsible for the training on job to perform and quality system mandatory requirements of training for the assigned team.
  • Manages performance of current position and administrates performance reviews and career path for the assigned team.

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation and accuracy of financial information for the manufacturing plant, including monthly financial statements and EBITDA analysis. This position supports forecasting, budgeting, and cost control processes, ensuring alignment with corporate finance requirements and compliance within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment.

Qualifications
  • Public Accountant degree or similar (finance administration or financial engineering).
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing finance (preferably medical device/regulated industry).
  • Advance English level.
  • Office knowledge, Excel proficiency, any ERP system management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting and plant finance operations.
  • Ability in accounting reports, detail oriented, teamwork.
