Ready to make an impact in driving global financial governance and risk mitigation? As a Finance Risk & Controls Specialistat Kellanova, you will play a key role in standardizing and strengthening our internal control environment across regions. This position is a great opportunity to work closely with stakeholders across GBS, Sales Finance, and Corporate teams, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

This role offers exposure to global processes and decision-making, as well as opportunities to support strategic initiatives in risk analysis and audit readiness.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Standardize and Maintain Global Controls – Help develop global policies that balance consistency with regional flexibility while maintaining the company’s inventory of key controls.
  • Support Audit and Compliance Efforts – Assist in internal and external audits, including managing remediation plans for identified control deficiencies.
  • Enable Risk Mitigation – Conduct financial risk analysis and provide mitigation recommendations, while supporting diagnostics and P&L risk/opportunity assessments.
  • Drive Stakeholder Engagement – Work with GBS, Sales Finance, Internal Controls, and Corporate Controllers to communicate risk performance and process improvements.
  • Foster a Culture of Control – Promote financial acumen and compliance awareness across global teams, while preparing standard documentation for accounting and audit readiness.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in internal controls, audit, financial risk, or similar functions.
  • Strong English and Spanish communication skills (spoken and written).
  • Advanced spreadsheet and Microsoft Office proficiency; SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to create executive summaries and communicate with leadership.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn in a global, fast-paced environment.
