We are seeking a Finance Manager to join MX's 3P Finance team as the Finance FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) lead for MX. Our 3P (Third-Party) business includes Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) and Merchant Fulfillment Network (MFN) channels. With Sellers contributing over 65% of Amazon MX online sales, the 3P FBA channel is essential to Amazon’s goal of offering a vast product selection at low prices.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, a proven track record of effective business partnership, and the ability to deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment. Effective communication and collaboration across cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders are crucial to understand topline and cost drivers and to deliver high-quality insights to senior leaders to influence fee strategy.

Key job responsibilities

1. Be the finance business partner for the Marketplace Latam FBA channel
2. Consolidate FP&A processes for MX Marketplace
3. Perform financial modeling, support analysis, and validate financial and operational results of the Marketplace business
4. Ensure high levels of financial controls and data integrity
5. Lead month-end close activities and planning cycles
6. Act as a business partner to support growth and profitability
7. Consolidate forecast and reporting processes, driving automation and simplification
8. Provide accurate and insightful financial reports
9. Identify opportunities to leverage global standards and transfer repetitive tasks to central teams

Minimum qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
• 6+ years applying KPIs to analyses
• Experience leading large, cross-functional initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or 8+ years of relevant experience
• Experience identifying data issues and creating escalation plans
• Proven ability to solve complex business challenges with accurate financial models and analyses

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL
• Experience with large-scale data mining/reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
• Experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
