Overview

Job Summary: A Manager position is open on the Materials Finance FP&A team for a driven professional to manage projects, lead analysts through complex analysis, and support budgeting and reporting activities. The successful candidate will use analytical tools including Excel, Hyperion, and SAP to drive informed decision making across the finance department. This position will work collaboratively across departments with Purchasing, PMO, and other teams within the finance organization (i.e., MFG, M&S, PECA, and FPA Consolidation).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3 Sr. analysts over monthly validation and analysis of material cost and parts program.
• Oversee the Budget and Forecast consolidation of all material inputs and ensure timely reporting on all deliverables requested by the MZK consolidation team.
• Provide monthly results for materials finance to FP&A consolidation, including MTD P&L variances for NNA Flash meetings, full-year P&L variance results (YTD vs. BP/PY), and Mass TdC (YTD vs. BP/Prior Year).
• Coordinate and review Trim and Option mix in coordination with PECA and M&S for Budget and Forecast development.
• Lead budget and forecasting activities for the Sales Division Vehicle inventory restatement and Precious Grade Metal FIFO.
• Review parts Program ITPs and profitability.
• Prepare presentation material for review with Director and inclusion in CFO deck.
• Oversee the submission of all KPIs requested by the NML Finance Function CNTRL (A7F).
• Provide timely responses to NML A7F inquiries and follow-up questions.
• Oversee streamlining and process improvement activities to increase efficiency and develop useful insights into vehicle costs.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance for growth and development to the 3 Sr. Analysts in the group.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting from an accredited university. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred (MBA, MA, MS, CPA).
• 7-10 years of experience in a performance / results oriented fast-paced culture; automotive background and analytical roles preferred.
• High-energy self-starter with a history of successful leadership accomplishments.
• Demonstrated functional knowledge with strong technical proficiency.
• Firm understanding of financial concepts related to financial statements and basic GAAP accounting principles.
• Solid financial acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work across geographic/functional boundaries to drive results.
• Hyperion and SAP S4 Hana experience required.
• Highly proficient in MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
• Programming experience in SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Python, or database software is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Dependable, flexible, team player-oriented.
