Responsibilities

The Opportunity:

The Data Engineer & Analyst will play a critical role in the success of the Mosaic (global planning tool). Mosaic is transforming the way FP&A teams work across PepsiCo markets by enhancing the availability and quality of financial data for senior leadership.

This role is responsible for live market support, focusing on resolving data issues, ensuring data quality, and optimizing data flow within the system. The candidate will provide guidance on data sources, system connectivity, and data transformation logic while conducting root cause analysis and deploying solutions. Additionally, they will assist local teams in preparing their data for Mosaic, ensuring compliance with Data Quality Rules (DQRs) and SPOT standards.

The role requires close collaboration with IT/BRM, Sector FP&A, the Cockpit team, and other functional teams, including Net Revenue Management, Global Procurement, Coman, and Supply Chain.

Your Impact:

Live Market Support & Data Quality
  • Develop expertise in Mosaic data, including setup, sources, transformation, and user consumption.
  • Perform root cause analysis and deploy ETL/data transformation solutions.
  • Validate data pipelines to maintain integrity and align with business needs.
  • Troubleshoot tools, conduct ad-hoc analytics, and support end-users.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Quality Rules (DQRs) and resolve flagged issues.
  • Guide Business Units (BU) in achieving SPOT readiness.
Sustainable Data Solutions & Documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement end-to-end data solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for ETL processes and best practices.
  • Build resilient data pipelines with proactive monitoring and alerts.
  • Standardize master data setup with the Global Mosaic Data team.
  • Create user guides and documentation for common data issues.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • At least 1 year of work experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in data engineering and ETL development in Azure environment (Python Spark, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, SQL, or TM1)
  • Familiarity with technical database structures and hierarchy as well as ability to structure highly complex concepts into simple execution
  • Experience with data engineering/analysis
