We’re Hiring: Finance and Accounting Analyst (Remote - LATAM)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance and Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, managing accounting operations, and supporting financial planning and analysis to help drive strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
- HRIS Management (Rippling)
- Register and onboard new employees on Rippling, ensuring all records are accurate and complete.
- Manage updates (salary changes, promotions, role changes, etc.) in a timely manner.
- Keep employee data organized and current: departments, managers, benefits, employment status, etc.
- Payroll Processing
- Review and validate time-tracking and attendance records.
- Coordinate with managers to confirm hours before each payroll cycle.
- Ensure payroll reflects hours worked, leave taken, and benefits accurately.
- Policy Development & Compliance
- Draft and update HR policies aligned with U.S. and Puerto Rican labor laws.
- Monitor legal compliance and support fair, ethical resolution of workplace issues.
- Employee Requests & Leave Management
- Process leave requests (sick, vacation, special leave), ensuring proper documentation.
- Make sure all approvals align with internal policies.
- Recruitment & Selection
- Post open roles internally and externally.
- Review applications and resumes through Rippling.
- Screen candidates and coordinate interviews, assessments, and documentation.
- Occasionally participate in virtual or in-person job fairs.
- Pre-employment Documentation
- Coordinate pre-employment steps: health insurance enrollment, drug testing, background checks, etc.
- Communicate with labs and third-party vendors to follow up on confirmations.
- Hiring & Role Formalization
- Prepare and issue employment contracts aligned with local labor laws.
- Maintain accurate job descriptions and employee records (digital and/or physical).
- Onboarding & Orientation
- Lead engaging onboarding sessions covering policies, systems, and company culture.
- Ensure all required documentation is reviewed and signed, including the employee handbook.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in HR roles (HRBP or HR Analyst) for U.S. or Puerto Rican companies (remotely is a plus!).
- Hands-on experience with Rippling is required.
- Comfortable using tools like Slack, ClickUp, Notion, or Asana.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data discreetly.
- Bilingual or fluent in English and Spanish.
