As a member of the EMO finance team, this role will be responsible for financial transactions, closing, reporting, and analysis for external manufacturing operations (EMO).
These activities include general accounting functions, closing activities, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting activities, standard cost calculation and reviews, production variance analysis, as well as providing other support as needed.
What You Can Expect
Financial Transactions, Accounting, Closing, Reporting, & Analysis
Performs monthly closing procedures, including journal entries, analysis, reports, and reconciliations.
Validate and perform invoice processing to support EMO operations.
Prepare account reconciliations and account clearings.
Conducts reviews of financial activity to ensure accuracy and integrity of the accounting records in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley, U.S. GAAP, company policies, and other applicable controls.
Support continuous improvement efforts. Partner with EMO Assistant Controller, EMO Controller and other functions to provide information and support to operational goals.
Track and analyze global bulk JD shipments related to Jack & Coke relationship. Support process to develop costing, accounting and reporting, including any pricing analytics and transactional adjustments. This includes both co-packers managed by B-F as well as bulk shipments to markets managed by Coca-Cola.
Budgeting, Forecasting, Standard Costing, & Production Variances
Support the creation, analysis and release cost standards in SAP for designated plants. This includes both new products as well as annual cost standards for all materials.
Analyze production variances and provide insights to managers on variance drivers and forecasts. This includes both Tax and U.S. GAAP variances.
Support manager and operational teams during the budgeting and forecasting periods promoting efficient allocation of resources during the planning processes.
Support the further development and optimization of SAP Material Ledger module for EMO plants.
Special Projects as required
Ad Hoc Project Analysis: Provides support to Assistant Controller and Controller in developing meaningful financial analysis.
What You Bring to the Table
Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in general business operations, accounting or a combination of formal education and experience may be considered.
Demonstrated proficiency and understanding of U.S. GAAP and the ability to prepare financial statements and analysis.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities while meeting established deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on communicating quantitative and qualitative information in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
Ability to build productive relationships and partnerships and influence others.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Experience with SAP or comparable ERP software.
Fluent in English Language
What Makes You Unique
Education: Masters Degree (M.A., MBA or Equivalent); Business, Finance or Accounting
Certifications: CPA, CMA
Experience - Proficiency in product costing.
Experience - Proficiency with SAP software including the following modules: product costing, material ledger, materials management, inventory management, production planning, integrated manufacturing, financial accounting and controlling.
Experience - Proficiency in Alteryx software
Experience in alcohol beverage manufacturing environment
