Job summary

SEQUIUM ASSET SOLUTIONS LLC seeks a detail-oriented File Processor in Monterrey to handle client data files from receipt to transmission, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will validate layouts, import and export files, monitor processing jobs, resolve data issues, and coordinate with IT, operations and client services while following security and client requirements.

Candidates should have 1–3 years in file processing and strong Excel skills; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in file processing or related roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data quality.
• Experience with Excel and common delimited file formats (CSV, TXT).
• Ability to follow documented procedures and client instructions.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of secure file transfer methods such as SFTP/FTP.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process inbound and outbound client files.
• Validate file layouts, counts, required fields, and data formatting prior to processing.
• Import client files into internal systems (placements, updates, recalls, payments, status changes).
• Export and transmit files to clients, vendors, and internal teams per schedule.
• Review exception reports and resolve rejected records or errors.
• Reconcile totals, record counts, and dollar amounts against documentation.
• Monitor automated file processing jobs and escalate failures when needed.
• Maintain documentation of processing steps, issues, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, compliance, and client services to resolve issues.
• Follow client file layouts, business rules, naming conventions, and delivery requirements.
• Ensure secure handling of files per policy and regulatory standards.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce manual work.
• Support testing of new file layouts and client onboarding.
• Communicate status and delays to management and stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
