Ab Electrolux in Ciudad Juárez, MX is seeking a Field Quality Engineer to bridge Quality and Market teams, located at the plant. You will drive improvements in product quality and support new product development with expert knowledge of quality systems.

You will analyze consumer feedback, lead quality reporting, and coordinate corrective actions across functions, while traveling to meet customers and service teams in Europe as needed.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering (or equivalent).
• Manufacturing process understanding and product development knowledge a plus.
• Knowledge of components and product functionality and defects a plus.
• Fluent English and local language.
• 3–5 years of relevant quality experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and analyze consumer quality feedback from company reporting systems.
• Collaborate with Sales to analyze market-specific problems and drive improvements.
• Approve closure of actions to resolve quality issues.
• Collect and analyze safety risk data and initiate corrective actions.
• Lead factory quality reporting for assigned areas.
• Manage return of defective components and appliances, analyze root causes and drive improvements.
• Support field testing of appliances and deployments of quality tools (FMEA, 8D, QFD).
• Coordinate with other departments to implement best practices in the factory.

Job Description

As part of the BA NA Quality Central Team, reporting to Product Line Quality Director, and being located and in teamship relation in the plant, you will run the job of Field Quality Engineer.

You will be the connection between Quality organization and Market via Customer and Consumer Service organization. You will become an expert for a range of our products, and you will initiate activities for constant improvements of quality performances of the products thus aiming to increase the positive experience of our consumers. You will be strongly involved in supporting the development of new products as well.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and analyze consumers feedback, based on the data from company quality reporting systems,
• Cooperation with the Sales organization to collect and analyze market specific problems and initiate appropriate improvement activities,
• Follow / approve the closure of the actions defined to solve the quality issues,
• Collect and analyze safety risk data from the company database, initiate immediate corrective activities,
• Lead the factory quality reporting for the assigned areas
• Lead the return of defect components and appliances from the market, organize the detailed analyze, prepare the reports, and initiate improvement activities,
• Support the field test of the appliances,
• Deploy quality improvement tools in the improvement actions with the market service organization, (FMEA, 8D, QFD, etc.)
• Work with other departments, to identify and deploy best practice solutions in the factory.
• Responsible for applying all requirements related to EMS, ISO9001/14001/50001/ Green Spirit/Zero Waste Landfill according to the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Engineering (or equivalent)
• It is a plus the understanding of the manufacturing process as well as a good practical understanding of product development
• It is a plus the knowledge of components and product functionality (knowledge of possible defects of the products)
• Fluent English and good local language (where you are located)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within Quality
