Merit Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned clinical trainer to deliver comprehensive product training and support across multiple field teams including sales, lab staff, and clinicians.

You will address clinical questions and advance education through targeted curriculum development and ongoing staff training. Requirements include a medical background with hands-on experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage large training programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education/experience.
• At least five years of hands‑on medical experience.
• RN or CV/Radiology technician preferred.
• Medical product sales and sales training experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to analyze feedback to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Thorough understanding of training and development techniques.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to understand complex issues.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate large programs.
• Demonstrated computer skills, preferably spreadsheets, word processing, databases.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical training to groups such as Sales reps, Tech Teams, Merit employees, Cath lab and Radiology staff, and physicians on Merit products.
• Answer clinical questions from doctors, technicians, sales reps, etc.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives in the field for evaluations or consultations.
• Follow up on prior product evaluations and conversions or complaints requiring info.
• Establish relationships with lab staff, physicians, Sales Reps, and customers.
• Document clinical details involving customer complaints if needed.
• Attend meetings to determine events requiring regulatory notification.
• Liaise between lab/customers and Sales Reps.
• Develop training curriculums and programs to improve knowledge and skills.
• Conduct ongoing staff training and provide clinical feedback to resolve issues.
• Train clinicians in the field on Merit products and troubleshoot product issues.
• Assist roll-out of new products and educate Sales Reps on features and benefits.
• Provide information on new technologies and changes in the medical device industry.
• Develop product training and procedural materials.
• Develop programs for labs to obtain CEU credits with outside accreditation.
• Collaborate with T.I.A. department to improve products and develop new ones.
• Present at regional/national meetings on new products and customer requirements.
• Perform other related duties.
