Avnet is seeking a skilled Trade Compliance professional to lead Mexico import compliance, HS classification governance, and valuation reviews. You will manage brokers, support audits, NOM requirements, and trade programs, while driving standardized processes and stakeholder training across the organization.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in multi-national trade compliance, bilingual English/Spanish, and a strong grasp of Ley Aduanera and RGCE.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Law, or related field; equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in import compliance according to Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera), Foreign Trade Rules (RGCE), tariff classification methodologies, and non-tariff regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Mexico customs regulations, SAT expectations, import documentation, customs broker processes, and import clearance controls.
• Hands-on experience with HS classification, valuation, NOM requirements, preferential trade programs, and import compliance audits.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical business processes, controls, and training materials.
• Bilingual capability in English and Spanish, with the ability to review documentation and communicate with Mexico-based stakeholders.
